CBD2GO.co.uk is a finished, working UK CBD shop, ready for a new owner. The design, the categories, the product pages, the blog, the SEO and the hosting are all done. Add a payment processor and your own products, and you can start trading.
The asking price of £250 covers the domain, the complete website and 12 months of UK hosting on my Small Business UK plan (worth £100 on its own). The live site is at cbd2go.co.uk, so you can click around every page before you buy.

What you get
A shop built for CBD from the ground up
- Nine categories already set up, each with its own introduction, search description and helpful copy under the products: CBD Oils and Tinctures, CBD Sweets and Gummies, CBD Capsules, CBD Drinks and Teas, CBD Flower, CBD Resins, CBD Vapes and E-Liquids, CBD Body and Skincare, and Herbal Accessories (vaporisers, papers, grinders).
- CBD details on every product: CBD content in mg, pack size, CBD type (full spectrum, broad spectrum, isolate, distillate), THC result, flavour, brand, batch number, barcode, FSA novel food reference, genuine RRP and best before date.
- Price per mg worked out automatically and shown on every product card, so customers can compare value at a glance.
- Lab reports (certificates of analysis): upload the PDF with one button on the product screen. If a product has no certificate, the lab report button simply does not show, so you never promise something you can’t back up.
- Clearance section with its own page and home page slot. Tick “Clearance line” on a product and it gets a red badge, shows its best before date, and appears on the Clearance CBD page.
- Offers page that fills itself with anything you put on sale, with the saving shown as a percentage.
- 18+ age check on entry, plus a compliance statement in the footer that you can edit.
- Free delivery progress bar in the basket and checkout, ready to switch on if you offer free delivery over a set amount.

Search engine work already done
- Search titles, descriptions, canonical tags and social share images on every page, product, category and post, with nothing extra to install.
- Structured data (schema) for the shop, products, prices, delivery, returns, breadcrumbs and FAQs, the details Google uses for rich results and shopping listings.
- Clean addresses such as cbd2go.co.uk/what-is-cbd/, with old addresses redirected.
- Category pages written around the phrases people search for, with longer helpful copy below the products.
- Fast pages: self-hosted fonts, no page builder, no heavy slider plugins. The only plugins are WooCommerce and my connection plugin for support, which you can remove.
A blog that is already written
Eight plain English articles, each with a real photo and its licence credit: What is CBD?, How to choose a CBD oil, CBD gummies and sweets, CBD body care, CBD capsules or CBD oil, CBD drinks and teas, How to store CBD products, and a beginner’s guide to herbal accessories. They give Google something to read from day one and give customers reasons to trust the shop. The newest four show on the home page automatically.

Easy to run
- Everything is managed in the normal WordPress and WooCommerce screens, which millions of shops use and countless guides cover.
- Business details, delivery and returns, social links, the age check, the footer statement and the home page headline are all in Appearance, Customise, CBD 2 GO settings.
- Works properly on phones, tablets and desktops.
- Your hosting control panel has one click backups, email accounts and free SSL.

What you need to do to start trading
- Add a payment processor. Most mainstream payment companies will not take CBD, so pick one that does. Some options are below.
- Add your products. Edit the 18 sample products or delete them and add your own. The CBD details tab on each product does the rest.
- Fill in your business details in the Customiser: trading name, company number, VAT number, address, phone and email.
- Set your delivery prices in WooCommerce shipping zones.
- Add your privacy policy, terms and returns pages. WordPress gives you a privacy policy starting point.
- Switch off the “SITE FOR SALE” band with one tick in the Customiser.
CBD friendly payment processors
Taking card payments is the one thing every CBD shop has to sort out, because most of the big names won’t take CBD at all:
- Shopify Payments: “doesn’t support the sale of hemp, cannabidiol (CBD), and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) products” (Shopify help).
- Stripe: lists CBD edibles as prohibited and other CBD as restricted, needing extra checks (Stripe restricted businesses).
- WooPayments: “CBD and other hemp derived products cannot be sold using WooPayments” (WooCommerce).
- PayPal, Square and SumUp are widely reported as refusing UK CBD merchants.
Because this shop runs on WooCommerce, you aren’t tied to any one payment company. You can plug in a processor that does work with CBD, with no extra platform fee on top. These are good places to start:
| Provider | Type | CBD position | WooCommerce | Fees |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Trust Payments | UK card processor, FCA authorised | Says on its own site that it supports UK and EU consumer CBD businesses | Official plugin on WordPress.org | Quote on application |
| Fena | UK Pay by Bank (open banking) | Says it accepts most industries, including CBD | Plugin on WordPress.org | Quote on application (has high risk pricing) |
| Wallid | UK Pay by Bank (open banking) | Reported as advertising CBD acceptance | Plugin on WordPress.org | 1% + 25p, lower at high volume |
| Fibonatix | UK high risk card processing | Reported to have a dedicated CBD underwriting team | Ask the provider | Bespoke, often 4% to 7% for CBD |
| Cardstream | UK payment gateway | Works through high risk banks that take CBD | Ask the provider | Bespoke |
Pay by Bank (Fena, Wallid) is often the quickest to get approved: customers pay straight from their banking app, there are no card chargebacks and fees are low. Many CBD shops start with Pay by Bank, then add card payments once a card processor approves them.
What a CBD card processor will usually ask for
- A working website with clear terms, privacy and returns pages (this shop is ready for them).
- Certificates of analysis for your products, ideally from the last 12 months. The shop shows them on each product page.
- For anything people eat or drink, proof the product is on the FSA’s public list of CBD products linked to novel food applications. There’s a field for the reference on every product.
- THC within the UK limits.
Typical terms quoted for UK CBD card processing are 1.5% to 3.5% plus 15p to 30p a transaction, a gateway fee of £20 to £60 a month, and a rolling reserve of 5% to 20% held for 90 to 180 days. Always get the terms in writing and check the provider still accepts CBD when you apply, as banks change their rules.
What it costs
Year one: £250, all in
That covers the domain (paid up to October 2027), the complete shop and 12 months of hosting. There is no monthly platform fee, no per sale fee from the platform and no app subscriptions. Your only other costs are your payment processor’s fees and your stock.
After the first year
| Item | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Small Business UK hosting (included for year one) | £100 a year, or £10 a month | 5,000 MB space, 2 databases, 5 email accounts (2 GB each), free SSL, daily backups, London servers |
| Silver Hosting UK (optional upgrade) | £200 a year, or £25 a month | 20,000 MB space, unlimited bandwidth, 10 databases, 20 email accounts (10 GB each) |
| Infinite Hosting UK (optional upgrade) | £350 a year, or £50 a month | Unlimited space, bandwidth, databases and email accounts |
| cbd2go.co.uk domain renewal | £12.49 a year | First renewal due October 2027 |
So from year two the shop costs £112.49 a year to keep online on the Small Business plan. That’s about £9.37 a month, less than many shop platforms charge for a single app. Full plan details are on my web hosting page.
How it compares with building the same shop elsewhere
The monthly fee is the cheap part on the big platforms. The real cost of a CBD shop on Shopify and similar builders comes from the paid apps you need to match what this shop already does, and the extra fee on every sale when their own payment system won’t take CBD.
Shopify, worked out properly for a CBD shop
| Cost | Shopify Basic, kept lean | Shopify Grow, fully kitted out |
|---|---|---|
| Plan (paid yearly) | £228 a year | £588 a year |
| Age verification app | Pay per check (about 25p to 45p each) | EM ID and Age Verification Plus, $50 a month ($600 a year) |
| Product reviews app | Judge.me Awesome, $15 a month ($180) | Loox, $49.99 a month ($600) |
| SEO app | Plug in SEO Lite, $29.99 a month ($360) | Plug in SEO Standard, $49.99 a month ($600) |
| Subscriptions app | Appstle Starter, $96 a year | Recharge, $99 a month ($1,188) plus 1.49% + 19¢ a transaction |
| Email marketing | Klaviyo, $20 a month ($240) | Klaviyo, $20 a month ($240) |
| Premium theme (one off) | $170 | $400 |
| Domain | About £15 a year | About £15 a year |
| Extra fee for using your own CBD payment processor | 2% of every sale | 1% of every sale |
| Year one, before the 2% or 1% | about £1,059 | about £3,433 |
| Each year after | about £926 | about £3,121 |
| On £20,000 of sales a year, add | £400 | £200, plus Recharge’s fees on subscriptions |
App prices are charged in US dollars and converted here at about 78p to the dollar. Shopify’s plan prices don’t include VAT. The extra fee applies because Shopify Payments won’t process CBD, so you have to use another provider, and Shopify charges a fee on top for doing that.
Every option side by side
| Option | Year one | Each year after | The catch for CBD |
|---|---|---|---|
| CBD2GO.co.uk from Infinite Lives | £250, shop built, hosting and domain included | £112.49 (£100 hosting + £12.49 domain) | None. Use any CBD friendly processor with no platform fee on top. |
| Shopify Basic, kept lean | about £1,059 + 2% of sales | about £926 + 2% of sales | Shopify Payments refuses CBD, hence the 2% |
| Shopify Grow, fully kitted out | about £3,433 + 1% of sales | about £3,121 + 1% of sales | As above, hence the 1% |
| Wix Business | from £300 + apps + your time building it | from £300 + apps | Wix has a help page on closing your Wix Payments account to sell CBD |
| Squarespace Core | from £204 + your time building it | from £204 | Only Stripe, PayPal and Squarespace Payments for cards, which all restrict or refuse CBD |
| BigCommerce Core | about £271 + 2% of sales + your time building it | about £271 + 2% of sales | The CBD friendly processors aren’t on its built in list, so the 2% fee applies |
| WooCommerce built by a UK freelancer, on WP Engine hosting | £2,000 to £5,000 build + £288 hosting + domain | about £300 | None, but you pay for the build and wait weeks for it |
| WooCommerce built by a UK agency, on SiteGround GrowBig | £5,000 to £15,000 build + about £288 hosting + domain | about £300 | None, but it’s the most expensive route |

Why this works out better
- It’s already built. No weeks of setup, no theme to buy, no developer to pay. The categories, product pages, clearance, offers and blog are done.
- No apps to rent. The age check, SEO, structured data, social images, price per mg, lab report display, clearance badges and best before dates are built into the theme. Product reviews come with WooCommerce.
- No fee on your sales. WooCommerce takes nothing per order, whichever CBD friendly processor you choose.
- You own it. It’s your WordPress site and your domain. You can take a full backup whenever you like, and nobody can switch off your shop because they’ve changed their mind about CBD.
- UK hosting with a real person behind it. London servers, daily backups, free SSL and email accounts, and you can message me directly if something needs fixing.
How the handover works
- Buy with the button on this page, or send an enquiry or offer if you have questions first.
- Once payment clears, I set you up with your own WordPress administrator login and your own hosting control panel login, and remove the sample “for sale” band if you’d like.
- The domain is moved into your name with your contact details. If you would rather host elsewhere, I can hand over a full backup and move the domain to your registrar instead (the included hosting is for my servers only).
- Your 12 months of hosting start on the day of handover.
Please read before you buy
- This is a new, ready made shop, not an established business. It has no sales history, customers, stock or supplier deals. You’re buying the domain, the finished website and the hosting.
- The products are samples. The 18 products are marked SAMPLE and have placeholder pictures, so you can see how everything works. Replace them with your own before you start selling.
- Selling CBD is your responsibility. You need to make sure your products, labels and claims follow UK law, including the FSA novel food rules for anything people eat or drink, and the cosmetics rules for skincare. Never make medical claims.
- CBD flower and resin: the categories are set up because buyers asked for them, but the Home Office treats hemp flower as a controlled drug whatever its THC level. Take legal advice before stocking flower or resin. You can remove those categories in seconds.
- Prices on this page were checked in November 2026 and can change, especially for other companies’ plans.
