LOCED In

► The Brief

The client wanted a professional UK prize competition website for LOCED IN, built around low odds competitions, strong branding and a smooth player experience. The aim was to create a site that felt exciting and modern, while still being structured properly around the rules expected for UK prize competitions. The client needed more than a basic raffle-style website. They wanted a platform that looked credible, worked smoothly, and gave players confidence from the moment they landed on the site.

The client needed the website to support paid ticket entries, fair entry handling, skill or knowledge-based competition questions, clear competition pages, transparent prize information and a properly explained free entry route. They also wanted the site to include clear terms, cash alternative information, entry thresholds and a simple customer journey from browsing a competition through to entering.

A major part of the brief was making sure the legal and operational side was considered from the start. The client wanted a competition platform that did not treat compliance as an afterthought. This meant building the site around important requirements such as qualifying questions, equal treatment of postal entries, clear cash alternative wording and transparent draw processes.

The client also wanted the brand to stand out in a crowded prize competition market. LOCED IN needed to feel sharper, more professional and more trustworthy than many generic competition websites. The design needed to support social media promotion, live draw visibility and future growth as more competitions were added.

► What We Built

We built LOCED IN as a UK-focused low odds prize competition website, designed around player trust, clear navigation and a stronger competition entry journey. The site was built using WordPress as a flexible foundation, with custom code changes made to improve performance, reduce unnecessary bloat and shape the platform around the way competition players actually use these sites.

The solution included competition product pages, ticket entry functionality, skill or knowledge-based question handling, clear prize information, published competition rules and a customer-friendly structure that makes entering feel simple. The website was designed so players can understand the prize, ticket cost, entry process, free entry route, cash alternative terms and draw expectations without having to dig through confusing small print.

We also built the platform with compliance-led thinking from the start. Postal entries were considered as part of the entry process rather than added as an afterthought, and the site was structured to present free entry information clearly alongside paid ticket options. Cash alternative terms, ticket threshold wording and competition rules were written into the website in plain English, helping the promoter present a more transparent and professional platform.

A key part of the build was improving trust around draws and results. LOCED IN was designed to support live draw promotion through social media, with a structure that helps keep entry and result records organised for audit purposes. This gives players more confidence and helps the promoter show that draws are handled fairly and transparently.

The finished website gives LOCED IN a polished, scalable and competition-ready online platform. It combines strong branding, smoother user journeys, clearer rules, better technical performance and a structure designed to support future prize campaigns. Instead of being just another flashy competition site, LOCED IN was built as a stronger, more credible platform with player experience and operational confidence at the centre.

LOCED IN needed a professional UK prize competition website built around low odds competitions, strong branding and a smooth player journey. The brief was to create a site that could handle paid entries, free entry information, skill-based questions, clear prize details and transparent competition rules.

We built a WordPress-based competition platform with custom code improvements, clearer user journeys and a strong focus on trust. The site was designed to make competitions easy to browse and enter, while giving players the information they need before taking part. This included prize details, entry questions, ticket information, free postal entry wording, draw information and cash alternative terms.

The solution was built with compliance-led thinking from the beginning. Rather than adding legal wording at the end, the site structure was shaped around the way a UK prize competition platform needs to operate. Free entry routes, qualifying questions, cash alternative wording and draw transparency features were all considered as part of the core build.

The finished LOCED IN website gives the client a sharper, more credible and more scalable competition platform. It combines bold branding, smoother entry flows, clear competition pages, improved technical performance and a stronger trust framework for players. The result is a site that stands out visually while still feeling professionally organised behind the scenes.
