What ChatGPT Says My ADHD Self Is Doing Tomorrow

What does ChatGPT think of me?

ChatGPT probably knows far too much about how my brain works by now. We spend a lot of time together. Over the past few years, ChatGPT and I have worked on websites, businesses, coding projects, retro gaming releases, home automation, caravans, gardening, SEO, servers, domains and more random ideas than I could possibly remember.

One minute, we might be fixing a WordPress problem. Ten minutes later, we are discussing tomato plants, redesigning a website, valuing a business or trying to work out whether an old piece of equipment can be repurposed into something completely different, Google has slowly been phased out when researching a quick answer to random questions, such as “Who sang the song that said…” and pulling the app out at a party and talking to your phone like Michael Knight talking into his watch and K.I.T.T. answering is still considered “wow factor”.

There are very few quiet days, ChatGPT has started to understand how my ADHD brain works. It knows that I rarely complete one small job without finding another five things that could be improved, I think ChatGPT is the only thing that understands my occasional ADHD in overdrive. It knows that a quick website edit can become an entirely new business idea, it knows that trying to book a caravan holiday in Doniford Bay, will probably end up in buying a caravan and is unlikely to end with simply owning a caravan. There will probably be a whole new business, a website, booking pages, SEO, blog posts, custom features and several ideas that did not exist when I woke up.

I use ChatGPT for the most random of things, my last phone app session was about an author of a book, I had literally walked past at a car boot sale – its also glued into my Chrome browsing habbits, my CodeBase and sat there watching me on my development server, checking code as I write it, it knows what I’m shopping for and sees what I’m creating, out of my choice!

It also knows that when I say, “Right dude, hear me out…” – Whatever comes next is probably not going to be a small project! So, knowing how much time we spend together doing genuinely awesome, productive and occasionally completely random things, I decided to ask ChatGPT a revised question:

“Based on everything you know about me, my ADHD brain, the businesses I run, the projects we work on and the way one simple task somehow becomes twelve, what do you honestly think I will be doing tomorrow?”

This was its answer:-

Just Another Completely Normal Day in the Life of Lee

Lee will wake up tomorrow with a simple plan.

Nothing dramatic.

Answer a few messages. Check a couple of websites. Water the plants. Complete a few jobs from the to-do list.

For approximately ten minutes, everything will probably go exactly as planned.

Then he will have an idea.

That is usually where the trouble starts.

One Small Job Quickly Becomes Twelve

Lee can never seem to look at just one thing.

He might open a website to change a sentence, but while he is there, he will notice that the page title could be better. Then the SEO will need improving. Then he will realise another page is missing.

Before long, he will be rewriting half the website, thinking about adding a new booking system and wondering whether he should build a custom WordPress plugin to automate something that currently takes about thirty seconds.

Some people would probably complete the original job and move on.

Not Lee.

He will somehow turn it into a full development project.

A quick bit of work will become several new ideas, a few improvements, some extra pages and at least one thought that begins with:

“Actually, while I am here…”

Those five words have probably created half of his businesses.

Then There Are the Plants

At some point, Lee will wander outside to check the garden.

He will not simply water the plants.

The tomatoes will need inspecting. Are they too bushy? Do they need pruning? Are the leaves blocking airflow? Is that tiny green tomato bigger than it was yesterday?

The blueberries will need checking because apparently they now have their own water-quality requirements.

The raspberries will need attention.

The basil will be judged.

Every pot will be inspected as though Lee is carrying out an official agricultural assessment.

He will stand there looking at the tomatoes, debating whether to remove a branch with no flowers on it, while somehow also thinking about compost, natural fertilisers, seaweed feed, chicken manure pellets and whether banana water might actually be useful.

A normal person sees an old banana and thinks:

“That needs throwing away.”

Not Lee.

Lee sees an old banana and thinks:

“There must be a way to turn this into plant food.”

Somehow, a 750-Litre Water Tank Will Become Relevant

Even ChatGPT is not entirely sure how some of Lee’s conversations develop.

One minute, he will be thinking about watering blueberries.

The next minute, he will be comparing water filtration systems, reverse osmosis machines, flow rates and how long it would take to fill a 750-litre tank.

Then he will be wondering whether tap water should sit for 24 hours, whether minerals need adding back into purified water and whether the same setup could be useful for several completely different projects.

This is normal for Lee.

He rarely solves one problem without accidentally discovering another three projects along the way.

The Caravan Was Never Going to Be Just a Caravan

Buying a caravan should probably be simple.

You buy it, use it, enjoy some holidays and occasionally let friends or family stay.

Not Lee.

Before long, there will be a website.

Then the website will need proper pages.

Then there will need to be a contact page, booking information, frequently asked questions, things to do at and near Doniford Bay, a seaside blog and a page explaining everything people might want to know before visiting.

Then every page will need a proper title.

Then every page will need a meta description.

Then Lee will start thinking about search rankings, local keywords and whether the wording sounds natural enough.

Eventually, he will no longer simply own a caravan.

He will be running a complete holiday accommodation brand.

All because he thought:

“It might be nice to have somewhere by the sea for a week with Harry.”

His Retro Gaming Website Will Always Be Somewhere in the Background

No matter what else Lee is doing, his main retro gaming website will never be far away.

He might be checking figures, replying to emails, reviewing income, thinking about advertising or discussing what the business could be worth.

It has been part of his life for so long that even when he is doing something completely unrelated, part of his brain will still be working on it.

Lee could be standing in the garden holding a watering can while mentally calculating annual profit, business value and whether a particular deal makes sense.

That probably is not normal.

It is normal for Lee.

Lee Also Apparently Has a Personal Problem With Em Dashes

At some point during the day, Lee will notice an em dash, on a post, usually FaceBook.

That might not sound important.

It will be important.

Nothing makes a perfectly good piece of writing suddenly look suspiciously artificial quite like seeing em dashes scattered everywhere.

Once Lee notices one, he will start looking for the others – It is probably a very small detail to most people.

Not Lee.

For Lee, it will become a mission.

Sitting Down for Five Minutes Will Be Dangerous

At some point in the evening, Lee will tell himself that he is going to sit down for five minutes.

Just five minutes.

No work.

No projects.

No new ideas.

Then he will open the computer.

Five minutes later, there will be fourteen browser tabs open.

One will contain a website he is editing.

Another will contain something for the caravan.

One will be about gardening.

One will show a piece of equipment he definitely did not need that morning but is now convinced could be useful.

There will probably be at least one, Home Assistant dashboard open somewhere.

There might be server information.

There could be a domain panel.

At least one tab will contain something he has completely forgotten opening.

This will usually be the exact moment Lee says:

“Hey Fam, can you help me with…”

That sentence will rarely be followed by anything small.

His Brain Does Not Really Have an Off Switch

The reason Lee’s days become like this is probably because he struggles to look at anything without thinking about how it could be improved.

He sees a repetitive job and thinks it could be automated.

He sees an empty page and thinks it could become a website.

He sees spare space and thinks it could become a business.

He sees a caravan and builds a holiday brand around it.

He sees a plant and starts researching the chemistry of the water going into the pot.

He sees an old machine and wonders whether it can be modernised.

He sees a problem and immediately starts building a solution.

Sometimes that will be exhausting.

Sometimes it will create far more work than he originally had.

However, it has also allowed Lee to build things that probably would never have existed if he had simply accepted things as they were.

Some Jobs Will Get Finished and New Ones Will Magically Appear

By the end of the day, Lee will probably have completed quite a lot.

The strange thing is that his to-do list may still be longer than it was in the morning.

He might complete five jobs but invent another twelve.

One completed page will create ideas for three more.

One business improvement will reveal another opportunity.

One finished project will somehow need a new feature.

It will be like trying to empty a bucket while continually drilling more holes into the top.

Yet somehow, things will move forward.

The websites will improve.

The businesses will grow.

The plants will survive.

The systems will become more automated.

The ideas will slowly become real.

Will It Be Productive or Will It Be Chaos?

Honestly, probably both.

From the outside, it may look like Lee spends the day jumping between completely unrelated things.

Caravans.

Websites.

Retro gaming.

Business figures.

Home automation.

Tomatoes.

Water tanks.

SEO.

Domains.

Servers.

Somehow, in Lee’s head, it will all make sense.

Mostly.

Will This Be a Typical Lee Day?

Lee would probably love to say tomorrow will be unusually busy.

He would probably love to say it will be one of those strange days where lots of random things happen at once.

But honestly?

It will probably be a fairly normal day for Lee.

He will wake up with a small list.

He will solve some problems.

He will create several new ones.

He will improve a few websites.

He will check the plants.

He will think about businesses.

He will open far too many tabs.

He will turn simple ideas into full projects.

And somewhere along the way, he will probably forget the original thing he sat down to do.

Chaotic?

Possibly.

Productive?

Definitely.

Typical Lee?

Completely!

Infinite Lives Group

We started with a love of retro and arcade gaming, a passion for technology and an eye for opportunity. What began as a digital services company quickly evolved into something much bigger — a group spanning property, tech infrastructure, arcades, hydroponics, health and beauty, and beyond. Infinite Lives Group exists because we believe great businesses aren’t built in one lane. The best ones play the whole board.
