When I first ventured into the world of hydroponics nearly a year ago, I felt a mix of excitement and trepidation. The idea of growing plants without soil was intriguing, but I was also acutely aware of my lack of knowledge. That’s when I discovered Green Spirit Horticulture, and I can honestly say it has been one of the best decisions I’ve made on this journey.
First Impressions Matter
From the very first conversation I had with their team, I was struck by how approachable and friendly they were. I remember calling them, feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the technical jargon surrounding hydroponics. To my delight, the staff at Green Spirit took the time to answer my many questions patiently. They didn’t just provide quick fixes; they genuinely wanted to help me understand the entire process. Their wealth of knowledge was not only impressive but also incredibly reassuring. I felt like I was in good hands from the start.
Whilst we have our deliveries shipped to the UK, we then move them to our European destination. This is done in-house as we prefer to move our stock ourselves. Once at its European destination, we put the stock to the test and, lo and behold, we are never left feeling like we made a bad purchase!
Discovering Quality Products
As I learned more about hydroponics, I began exploring their impressive range of products. One standout for me has been the Dutch Pro Explode nutrient solution. It’s designed to promote explosive growth during the flowering stage, and I’ve seen the difference it makes in my plants. You can check it out here. It’s a product I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking to enhance their hydroponic setup. While the price initially made me hesitate, over time I’ve seen why this is such a fantastic addition to your system. We’ve run side-by-side tests with plants—one using Dutch Pro Explode and one without—and the enhanced plant showed a difference of around 40% more growth.
Alongside the amazing Dutch Pro A+B, I can honestly say they have never let me down on stock and supply. They offer a vast range, catering to soft and hard water areas for soil, hydro, and coco. The choices are simply amazing, and they also stock products from other nutrient providers, such as Advanced Nutrients, Athena, Buddhas Tree, Canna, Growth Technology and many more top brand names
Introducing the Q-Max EC 8″ Fan
Another fantastic product I’ve had my eye on is the Q-Max EC Fan. This fan features advanced EC technology, making it a top-tier turbine or mixed flow fan with outstanding aerodynamic efficiency and energy consumption. The silent operation of the Q-Max is impressive; it ensures uniform, turbulence-free airflow while remaining completely noise-free. It can be controlled using the plug-and-play Can Fan AC Controller, which can manage up to 10 fans simultaneously.
What’s more, these fans are made in Germany and are compact, easy to clean, and come with integrated hangers for simple installation. The entire range meets mandatory ErP requirements for all EU-marketed fans, so you know you’re getting a reliable product. I would LOVE to be able to get my hands on one of these 8″ bad boys to test it out before purchasing some more!
Simplifying the Setup with Complete Tent Kits
Green Spirit also offers a fantastic selection of complete tent kits that make setting up a hydroponic system incredibly straightforward. I wish I had known about these sooner! With everything you need included, these kits take the guesswork out of getting started. I particularly admire their commitment to quality; it’s evident in every product they offer. You can explore their complete LED tent kits here.
Quality Substrates for Optimal Growth
For anyone looking for high-quality growing mediums, Green Spirit stocks Canna Coco Professional Plus in 50L bags for just £14.95. This makes it a go-to resource for anyone using Canna Coco. I’ve found it to be an excellent substrate that provides a great environment for my plants to thrive.
Going Above and Beyond
Throughout this journey, I have appreciated how Green Spirit goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. They don’t just sell products; they create a community of support. Whenever I’ve had questions—whether it was about nutrient ratios or lighting conditions—their knowledgeable staff has always been quick to help. It’s a refreshing change in an industry where automated responses and faceless corporations often take centre stage.
Building Confidence and Knowledge
Now, as I nurture my hydroponic garden with a touch of flair, I feel more confident than ever. I know that if I encounter challenges, I have an industry leader in Green Spirit Horticulture to rely on for guidance and support.

Their exceptional service and knowledgeable staff mean that when you buy products, you’re also learning so much along the way. You really won’t regret it!
